Augmented reality is capable of delivering some of the most exciting advances in marketing since the very introduction of the internet. Business applications for this tech aren't just limited to the design or presentation space; indeed, some of the best uses for augmented reality can increase sales, maximize customer engagement, and improve customer satisfaction. By connecting users to the products they buy in a real, visual way, you can bridge the gap between your intended audience and the products or services you sell.
Technology is widely adopted by retail companies with the quite obvious purposes of overtaking less advanced competitors, gaining new customers, and eventually increasing revenues.
Just like technology, retail remains a shifting landscape. In particular, the emphasis on digital transformation continues to reshape shopping, online experiences and even customer expectations of physical stores. The retailers who thrive in this environment are the ones who embrace technological change. Let's take a closer look at 7 tech trends that will affect the retail sphere over the next few years.
The clients addressed us with an idea of a mobile application that would help musicians record song ideas and collaborate on them remotely. Their first step would be testing the market and finding additional investors to develop the product further. Our goal was to build a viable beta for these purposes.
Adobe's answer to Sketch is Adobe Experience Design (XD). For many years sketch has been the pioneer tool for UI/UX designers, and has created a community which includes a set of plugins, forums, and integration with tools like Figma and InVision. The only issue Sketch has that its exclusive to Mac users. Windows users still used to create UI/UX sets on tools like Adobe Photoshop.
If you are an old existing Sketch user and are not interested in what XD has to offer, do yourself a favor and keep reading the below post. Adobe itself has claimed in the Adobe Max Cofrence 2018 that XD is going to be bigger than Photoshop. To be noted that, Photoshop is the largest platform for designers to create artworks globally. There is just no alternative.
Mobile App Design or User Interface (UI) has come a long way. From tacky button phones to the touch interface, mobile app design has always surprised with its fabulous potential to vow the users with the possibility of various gestures and ideas that can be implemented in one small palm-sized wired box. Nowadays, mobile designs are not only aesthetically pleasing but also empower businesses to achieve their business goals digitally.
In 2019, there are some significant infrastructure changes like 5G ramping up, which will make the User Experience (UX) more seamless in terms of network speed and connectivity. Also, hardware changes like curved screens across mobile and televisions will bring some interesting examples of UI for the future. In 2017-2018 we already saw iPhone's notch design being mimicked by brands like OnePlus, Vivo, Oppo and Android family. Designing for a mobile-first approach is not only essential but mandatory now as 85% of users surf the internet from mobile. All these set of challenges are now massive opportunities for App designers to experiment with their designing approach and get on the bandwagon for the design guidelines of 2019. Below are the UI trendsetters of 2019:
It has been 12 years to the iconic launch of iPhone in 2007 and also the birth of consumer-ready mobile applications. Since then, the mobile app market has been growing in double-digit rates. The transformation of accessing the Internet on a desktop to mobile size computing is at its peak. Mobile apps have mouth shut the skeptics of the market who coined apps as a bubble.
Mobile apps are a culture we have all grown accustomed to, given their presence as location-based apps, to their development on the spectrum of augmented and virtual reality. In fact, as per Statista, by the year 2020, mobile apps are expected to generate $188.9 billion as global revenue.
Building a high-quality mobile app from the ground up is complex and not something any one person can do. To build a functional mobile app, every member of the development team has to do their part.
First, we have to fully understand your objectives and goals. Does your app need to allow people to buy items from your warehouse? Or maybe make reservations in your restaurant? Once we understand the 5 W’s (who, what, when, where, why), we can begin to plan for the project scope (work that needs to be accomplished) for your app.
All developers know that mobile technology is the new gold mine - the important thing is being able to create systems that are cost effective and up and running in a short amount of time. Obviously, each platform has its own development models and criteria to be analyzed appropriately; below we propose a series of evaluations that must be defined in order to carry out the development strategy:
