Kmotion Design is an intentionally small design firm that is based in Grand Rapids, Michigan, and was established in 2008 by Katie Vanderploeg. We get to know our clients by understanding their goals, motivations and how they operate so we can best design a custom solution for them that is optimized for ease of use, lead generation and conversions. We work in a truly collaborative way, and see ourselves as a trusted partner, bringing together all the various elements of the project to ensure a successful and creative completion. Each of our projects are taken through an innovative process that we have designed over the last 10 years, and we continue to refine that process to create the best possible experience. We use a combination of online tools, customer interviews, and milestones to ensure that your project goes from execution to completion within the allotted time and budget with the best end product. Our unique Discovery process allows us to gain a deeper understanding of our client's goals, their customers/audience, pains and problems, and overall scope of work to meet our client's needs. This also aids in the organization of priorities, phases and project milestones/tasks, so bandwidth is never an issue with us. We structure our team to be as efficient as possible with all our projects and schedules. Our team is comprised of 3 parts: Strategy and Marketing, Design, and Development.
